The Tango Line of Artisan Cajons have two groupings, each with three pre-tuned steel cajon strings that develop a crisp snare effect. The strings are hand-wound by José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz, the master cajon maker. Rounded corners and notches for the thumbs on the front plate and the resonance body optimise playing comfort and sound. The 7-ply, 9 mm thick body made of Baltic birch produces a particularly clear and warm sound. The cajons are available with Limba and Light Eucalyptus front panels and are manufactured in Spain.

Es bedient sich der neusten Generation des KORG Analog Modelings, das neben der detailverliebten Reproduktion klassischer Oszillatoren und Filter erstmals auch komplette Voice Boards mit dem Zusammenspiel qualitativ abweichender Komponenten, Hüllkurvengeneratoren und sogar Portamento-Verhalten mit einbezieht. Auf diese Weise erzeugt das multi/poly module Klänge, die geradezu lebendig wirken und das typisch „analoge“ Timbre besitzen. Die zur Auswahl stehenden „Classic“-, „Digital“- und „Waveshaper“-Oszillatoren, die sich natürlich auch frei miteinander kombinieren lassen, bieten eine wahre Spielwiese für Sounddesigner und Synthesizer-Fans. Innerhalb eines Soundprogramms stehen 4 Oszillatoren, ein Rauschgenerator mit eigenem Filter und eigener Sättigung sowie ein Ringmodulator zur Verfügung. („Layer Rotate“ ist eine Funktion, die durch den klassischen Mono/Poly inspiriert wurde und bei jedem Tastendruck im „Round Robin“-Stil zwischen unterschiedlichen Soundprogrammen umschaltet.) Zur Animation dieser Klänge bietet die „Motion Sequencing 2.0“-Funktion gleich mehrere voneinander unabhängige Sequencer-Spuren für Timing, Pitch, Shape sowie vier weitere Parameter, die sich jeweils als einzelne Steps oder in Echtzeit aufnehmen lassen. Damit nicht genug stellt die „Kaoss Physics“-Funktion weitere, einzigartige Modulationsmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung, die auf dem physikalischen Modell eines virtuellen Balls beruhen, der sich anhand vorher festgelegter Parameter auf einer Ebene bewegt und über das integrierte X-/Y-Touchpad gesteuert oder angestoßen werden kann. Dieser Ball erzeugt zu jedem Zeitpunkt acht unterschiedliche Modulationssignale, die sich auf nahezu jeden klangformenden Parameter auswirken können. Auf diese Weise entstehen komplexe Modulationen, die sich nie exakt wiederholen, und die sich gerade im Live-Kontext besonders effektvoll einsetzen lassen. Drei Blöcke mit Effekten in Studioqualität sowie ein Master-Reverb und ein Master-EQ runden die Klänge entsprechend ab. Beim Umschalten zwischen verschiedenen Soundprogrammen sorgt die aus den KORG Flaggschiff-Workstations bekannte „Smooth Sound Transition“ für natürlich klingende Übergänge ohne ein Abreißen der Sounds oder Effekte. Für die Erstellung neuer Klänge steht eine inspirierende Zufallsfunktion bereit, die auf Knopfdruck alle oder nur bestimmte klangformende Parameter im vorher definierten Rahmen zufällig festlegt, was zu komplett neuen Timbres oder sinnvollen Ausgangspunkten für weitere Soundexperimente führen kann. Mit Ausnahme der Pitch- Bend und Modulations-Räder bietet das multi/poly module die gleichen Bedienelemente wie die Tastaturversion, wodurch sich alle Parameter direkt am Gerät einstellen lassen. Das kompakte Gehäuse findet entweder im 19“-Rack oder auf dem Schreibtisch Platz, wobei für letztere Variante sogar zwei unterschiedliche Aufstellwinkel gewählt werden können. Die Anschlussbuchsen sind so angebracht, dass die Kabel auch dann noch zugänglich sind, wenn im Rack direkt über dem Modul weitere Geräte installiert sind.
