The new DM-8 e-drumset from Nux is designed for semi-professionals and professionals. Noiseless practising and performing with an authentic playing experience - this is the formula that the engineers at Nux have implemented at their well-known price-performance ratio.
The DM-8 consists of a solid rack system and its drum shells as well as the bass drum are covered with mesh heads whose tension can be adjusted to suit your taste and whose rebound behaviour feels like that of a real drum set. The authentic feel is further enhanced by the free-standing hi-hat, which can be played in an open, closed or half-open setting. The free-standing snare, which also features the latest 3-point trigger technology, can be used to realise multi-faceted and highly dynamic rim-shot or cross-stick playing styles.
The crowning glory of the DM-8 is the clearly laid out control interface, which allows precise intervention in the sound mix using individual group faders. In addition to 30 pre-installed hi-fi drum sets, you can also feed in your own drum samples. The module also serves as an interface for other DAW and MIDI applications.
