The new Cameo DVC D5 interface is the perfect successor to the Cameo DVC and is now bundled with lifetime licences for Cameo D4 Express and Cameo D5 Express. With the associated Cameo software powered by Daslight, DMX-compatible lamps can be conveniently controlled from a PC or Mac.In live mode, the DVC D5 with its 512 DMX channels becomes the ultimate tool for live shows. For computer-free use as a standalone DMX player with 256 channels, programmed light shows can be copied to the integrated flash memory. The interface has a USB-C input, a 3-pin DMX output and is powered via the USB output of your computer. Three buttons facilitate programme selection and dimming in standalone mode, which only requires a standard 5 V USB power supply.The free Cameo software package contains over 15,000 device libraries and a ScanLibrary editor for creating or customising device profiles. With this software, individual DMX devices can be selected, grouped and added to the lightshow in a 2D representation. With the Major DMX-Node 1, Ethernet data can be quickly and easily converted into DMX and vice versa. The Major DMX-Node 1 supports both Art-Net and sACN. The XLR connection can be configured as an output or input for a DMX universe.The Major DMX-Node 1 has a small and robust metal housing and is supplied with power via a USB connection. Configuration options for the node, such as setting the IP address or the network protocol, are provided via simple, free software. The software also includes a simple Art-Net output/input tester and the option to install firmware updates.
