With the Major DMX-Node 1, Ethernet data can be quickly and easily converted into DMX and vice versa. The Major DMX-Node 1 supports both Art-Net and sACN. The XLR connection can be configured as an output or input for a DMX universe.

The Major DMX-Node 1 has a small and robust metal housing and is supplied with power via a USB connection. Configuration options for the node, such as setting the IP address or the network protocol, are provided via simple, free software. The software also includes a simple Art-Net output/input tester and the option to install firmware updates.

For longer distances, or if more than 32 devices are to be supplied by one data line, we recommend using the Martin Optosplitter.Terminating resistor The data line must be terminated with a 120 Ohm resistor between Signal+ and Signal-. This is very important for error-free data transmission. When using a splitter, each data line must be terminated.
