What makes a good amplifier sound?Tube technology, selected high-voltage components, dynamics through high-voltage technology and an uncompromising analogue signal path.The BL 800 follows exactly this path. AVTC - Analogue Virtual Tube Circuit, selected high-voltage components, 280V operating voltage and a completely analogue signal path.The BL 800 is built like a real tube amplifier, with the same components, and that's exactly how it sounds!Sound without compromise:The BL 800 delivers a clearly defined, tight sound with plenty of attack. It also has a dynamic response and reaction to the guitar's potentiometer that only good tube amplifiers can achieve. The gain reserves surpass the good old JCM800, especially when the boost is switched on. Without the boost activated, the BL 800 is an exact sound copy of the JCM 800 with a little more gain; with the boost activated, there is a decent extra boost of gain.Controls:Gain, bass, middle, treble, volume, plus a gain boost. Five controls are enough to adapt the BL800 perfectly to an amplifier. This is achieved by an active 3-band tone control that covers all sound nuances. The boost adds a further scoop of gain without changing the actual sound of the BL 800.

Eddie Van Halen is known for giving his legendary guitars their own identity. With his visionary approach to personalising his style and tone, Eddie has created some of the most memorable guitars in rock'n'roll history.One of these guitars has become as iconic to Van Halen's sound as tapping is to Eddie's playing. Eddie took his edged offset axe and sawed a chunk out of the body, leaving jagged edges in the wood that looked like teeth, and aptly named it "Shark". After applying a coat of silver paint, Eddie added tape in his famous striped pattern and then grabbed a can of burgundy Schwinn bicycle paint to finish the job. The final striped creation was first seen live during the first Van Halen world tour in 1978, but became even more famous and adored by fans after appearing on the back cover of Van Halen's 1980 album, Women and Children First.After years of requests for this famous instrument, EVH® is proud to release the new Shark model of the Striped Series. This high performance axe features an edgy ash body paired with a rock solid maple neck that features a comfortable modified "C" profile. The neck features a "hockey stick" headstock and the same striped finish on the back, while the fast-playing 12"-16" compound radius Pau Ferro fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets and white dot inlays.The Shark is also equipped with custom EVH Wolfgang® Alnico 2 humbucker bridge and neck pickups that deliver the ideal amount of power and articulation with sweet sustain and thick, chunky rhythms with a perfectly balanced EQ curve. The bridge pickup features parchment-coloured coils with metal braided wire, while the neck pickup has black coils with metal braided wire. A low-friction volume control with treble bleed ensures unrivalled performance and smooth volume adjustment for gentle volume swells, while a chrome-plated solid brass harmonica bridge provides massive attack, presence and sustain.In addition to the distinctive Burgundy with Silver Stripes finish, the Shark has other eye-catching features such as black numbered knobs, a three-way toggle switch on a brass mounting plate, a brass saddle, gold and chrome Gotoh® tuners with EVH stamping and chrome eye hooks with turnbuckles. Tone Bender-style fuzz pedal:Warm Audio Warm Bender offers two of the most legendary Tone Bender fuzz sounds and an additional modern tone in a single pedal.The Warm Bender's NOS 76 setting provides a cutting, present tone, while the NOS 75 setting delivers the Mark II Professional style used by almost all riff-oriented guitarists of the 60s and 70s.The Warm Bender pedal is manufactured in 100% through-hole construction with NOS Germanium transistors and houses two different Germanium fuzz circuits as well as a third modern silicon circuit for a softer, distortion-like tone.Thanks to the additional SAG circuit, the special and unique sound of the original Tone Bender-style fuzz pedals can be reproduced in a controlled manner when the voltage drops.
