With the VTX series, VOX takes amp modelling to a whole new level :
Since its launch in 2001, VOX’s Valvetronix series has undergone continuous development, leading, amongst other things, to the combination of advanced modelling technology with the Valve Reactor circuit, which perfectly replicates the behaviour of a valve amplifier. With the VT20X/VT40X/VT100X amps, we are introducing a brand-new modelling engine that is absolutely state-of-the-art in terms of sound. Thanks to VET (Virtual Element Technology), which is based on the analysis of components and amp circuits, the VTX amplifiers deliver an authenticity that is absolutely impressive. Naturally, these amps also feature the multi-stage Valvetronix tube preamp. This is partly based on genuine analogue circuits, as these simply reproduce the tonal variations and nuances of a tube amp better than any simulation. In addition to this sophisticated circuitry, the VTX amplifiers feature a sealed cabinet and a bass-reflex system that simply brims with natural resonances. With VOX’s Tone Room software, you can even tweak and bend historical facts on a virtual level until the amp and effects sound exactly as you’ve always imagined!
