The reed screw can be optimally adjusted to the sound, musical direction and mouthpiece using three different metal plates.
Musical expression without limits:
The reed screw has no contact with the mouthpiece in the reed area, allowing the reed to vibrate freely without interference.
With three different pressure plates:
Plate 1:
Runs in the same direction as the fibres of the reed, resulting in a very light response.
Incredibly easy articulation (especially in staccato) and great resonance with rich, sonorous tones.
Plate 2:
More compact, centred tone and a soft, balanced sound. Exceptional, easy response.
Plate 3:
The reed vibrates completely unaffected and produces a highly flexible sound for the greatest possible musical expression.
