The TF47 is a new design based on the German sound and inspired by the historic U47 and M49. With an extended low end and a punchy midrange, the TF47 is ideal for adding depth and presence to any source. These characteristics make it particularly suitable for recording vocals, guitar amps and drums.
At the heart of the TF47 is a K47-style metal capsule, a new 5840W vacuum tube from old stock (new old stock) and a customised, historically accurate BV8 transformer (as in the U47). These components deliver a warm and punchy sound reminiscent of the U47, with a pleasing articulation in the highs that blends perfectly into a mix.
