The CD-6010 CD player is the top model for practically any application. It was developed for broadcasting and is equipped with CD loading and emergency release to be prepared for all situations. Thanks to its drive, a CD-5010B, which is very popular with music lovers, the CD-6010 offers a sound quality that hardly any other built-in device can match. And because CDs continue to play a major role in broadcasting, installation and touring, the CD-6010 is the first choice for these applications.
Another unique feature of the CD-6010 is a monitoring loudspeaker integrated into the front of the device. It can be used to select tracks directly on the device - ideal if it is installed in a remote location or in a cabinet, for example. There are also 20 memory locations for cue points, instant start capability for up to 20 tracks and the auto cue, auto ready and track-by-track playback functions. The playback speed can be changed by ±16% and playback programmes for up to 100 CDs can be stored.
A complete set of connections can be found on the rear panel: In addition to balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, there is an SPDIF and an AES/EBU digital output. Serial RS-232C interface, parallel interface and a connection for the optionally available RC-3F foot switch enable remote control of the CD-6010.
