After two years of development, she focused on three key aspects: deep bass, clear definition and a design inspired by her love of vintage snares. The aluminium shell, chosen for its warmth and projection, has a depth of 6.5 inches for more powerful bass. Four grooves and a longer rim provide additional rigidity, maintaining resonance whilst increasing stability. Combined with Sound Arc snare wires, it delivers rich bass, clarity and presence. The new ‘Mod-Tone Muffler’ allows the player to switch the damping on and off instantly and adjust the pressure via a rotary control. This snare embodies Anika’s musicality and depth – ideal for players seeking the grooves and expression that characterise her artistry.
