Notable improvements over the old units include a soft-touch bypass, lower noise, and a two-setting mode switch for added versatility.
The ROSS Distortion is an op-amp based on the classic 1970s topology found in pedals like the MXR Distortion Plus, DOD 250, Proco RAT and BOSS DS-1. This pedal can be used in almost any situation, but is particularly characterised by the fact that it produces a natural, tube-like overdrive distortion and sets the amplifier into a natural breakup.
