With the new Digital Trigger Pads, Roland continues to drive the evolution of electric drums. Equipped with the latest technology, these innovative pads work directly with the flagship TD-50 sound module to deliver the ultimate in expressive drumming. Never before have electric drums felt so real.

The new Roland PD-140DS Digital V-Pad combines traditional snares with the latest trigger technology. A brand new three-layer mesh head skin and the standard 14-size pad shell for a snare feel familiar right out of the box. A completely new multi-sensor system recognises the strike position far more precisely than previous approaches and accurately implements even the most subtle dynamic nuances. Rimshots and cross-sticks sound absolutely authentic because the pad senses your hand and immediately knows how to react. With the unrivalled expressiveness of the PD-140DS pad, every nuance of the snare is natural, detailed and full of character. Due to the connections and the required processing power, the PD-140DS can only be used in combination with Roland's new Flaggschi TD-50 sound module.
