RANE PERFORMER Product Description:

The PERFORMER is a 4-channel motorised DJ controller designed for skilful emceeing and creative mixing, featuring RANE's industrial build quality and proven sound. High torque motorised platters, enhanced stem control capabilities, a MAG FOUR crossfader and 4 PRECISION FEEL volume controls make this controller an exceptional choice for performance-oriented professionals.

Creativity in motion:

The PERFORMER features 7" high torque die-cast aluminium platters and acrylic discs that react like vinyl. The discs are magnetically connected to the platters and provide consistently precise feedback. At the centre of each platter is a high-resolution 3.5-inch LCD screen that displays deck information, moving waveforms, album artwork and library views. The Day Mode option reverses the contrast for a clear display, so nothing is washed out in sunlight.

FADER WITH PRECISION FEEL:

In addition to the adjustable MAG FOUR crossfader, the PERFORMER mixer section features 4 redesigned PRECISION FEEL FADERS. These faders with adjustable tension use the same mechanical dual-rail system as the MAG FOUR, but are mounted vertically on the circuit board as horizontal faders. This provides an extremely smooth, reliable and consistent feel. The faders can be further customised in the onboard menu, giving you the option to reverse them and adjust the cut-in curve from 0-100%.

STEMS control:

With 4 unique options for controlling stems, the PERFORMER sets the standard for creative open format DJing. The PERFORMER features RANE's exclusive STEM SPLIT function, which automatically splits acapella and instrumental sections to 2 mixer channels and gives you the freedom to add individual elements with

FX to individual elements. STEM LEVEL turns the 3-band EQ on each channel into control knobs that allow you to adjust, switch off or boost individual elements.

Advanced FX capabilities:

With 29 paddle-controlled, fully customisable main effects and 4 knob-controlled channel effects, you can flexibly and individually shape your sound. This robust effects suite includes traditional classics such as Reverb and Echo, as well as some new effects such as Scale Down, Recycler and Riser. The entire fader FX suite of the RANE SEVENTY A-TRAK SIGNATURE EDITION mixer has been ported to the PERFORMER. This means that the PRECISION FEEL volume faders can be used as linear controls for roll, pitch and ring modulation. Seamlessly switch between the built-in hardware effects and Serato's software effects, giving you a variety of options no matter which style you choose.
