Herman Li is an award-winning guitarist, songwriter, producer and content creator best known for his work as one of the lead guitarists in the power metal band DragonForce. A guitarist as dedicated to understanding his instrument as he is to constantly honing his craft as a player, Li has been a formidable partner in the development of his signature PRS. The first result of this collaboration is the PRS Chleo Limited Edition, which Li has named after his children. Only 200 of this instrument will be produced in 2025.

At first glance, the Chleo deviates drastically from the classic PRS design, but its craftsmanship and quality are entirely PRS. Featuring the tried and tested combination of a mahogany body, a figured maple top and a maple neck, the body shape and neck of the Chleo were developed specifically for this model. The body has been modified from the traditional PRS profile in several ways. Above all, it is remarkably thin, making it light enough for energetic stage performances and comfortable for longer gigs. The neck shape and neck joint have been specially designed for comfortable and fast playing, and with the luminous side dots you'll never get lost, even on dark stages. The neck is very thin from head to body, with a slightly larger playing surface and a 20" (508 mm) fretboard radius. The neck joint has an additional surface area to maintain the

Integrity of the body and tone transfer. PRS's trademark scoop has also been modified to provide ultimate access to the upper frets, and the last 4 frets also have extra surface area so you can play those notes with ease too. And as if that alone didn't make the Chleo unmistakable, its ebony fingerboard also features the unique "Eclipse Dragon" inlays.

At the heart of the PRS Chleo are its Fishman Fluence pickups, from Li's signature series. These copper-free pickups use layered PCBs for consistent, noise-free sound reproduction. With three different voices and an extensive switching system, the guitar offers up to 13 unique sound combinations.

From fat, aggressive rhythms to smooth, warm leads and crystal-clear single-coil sounds, these pickups cover it all. The powerful control layout makes it easy to switch between different sounds in no time at all. Whether you're using a high-gain tube amp, a solid-state rig, a modern amp modeller or a DAW plugin, the Chleo's pickups are built to excel in any setup.

A Gotoh locking tremolo system fitted with the new PRS Custom Stabiliser adds to the innovation. It offers the expressive freedom of a fully articulating tremolo while providing the tuning stability of a fixed bridge. This provides confidence and control in any situation.
