WORKSHOP DETAILS
Shape, understand, and master the analog sound.
If you want to know why an analog synthesizer is more than just another sound source, then this is the place for you.
Philippe Brodu, sound designer, lecturer, and Arturia Ambassador, shows how simple waves can be used to create complex textures and how you can tailor the sound to evoke emotion, using the Polybrute 12. Learn firsthand how to create sounds from scratch, morph them, and bring them to life.
In this masterclass, Philippe shares his practical knowledge about analog synthesis, modular sound design, and professional sound design techniques.
About Philippe Brodu
As a musician, lecturer, sound designer, and co-organizer of Synthfest France, Philippe Brodu has become a well-known figure in the international synthesizer scene over the years. In addition to his work as a synthesizer journalist, his professional career has also taken him to various positions at Logic Audio, Korg, Shure, and Avid.
Philippe currently teaches synthesis and sound design at various institutions in France, including the SEA Institute, 3iS Education, and the French Institute for Advanced Media, Arts, and Technologies (IMAAT).
What to expect
You'll get an exclusive look into the world of analog sound design and can ask Philippe and the other Arturia experts anything you've ever wanted to know.
There will also be plenty of time to chat with other synth enthusiasts in attendance, and of course you can try out the Polybrute 12 for yourself.
In addition we have put together a few exclusive Arturia deals especially for this day!
