Playtron, the musical instrument that transforms skin, water, plants and more into sound.
This portable midi controller can be connected and played with up to 16 objects simultaneously. The sound also changes depending on the touch surface and intensity.
Connected to a DAW via a USB cable, software instruments can be controlled, but (desktop) synthesisers can also be connected directly.
Playtron reacts like any other MIDI controller, without any noticeable latency. The unique playing style allows users to immerse themselves in a new musical world and expand their horizons.

Die Geschichte Playtronicas begann Anfang 2013, als das junge Kollektiv Musikworkshops für Kinder veranstaltete und auf Musik- und Wissenschaftsfestivals auftrat. 2016 brachten sie Playtron auf den Markt, mit dem man auf jedem Objekt spielen kann, das Strom leitet, wie auf einer Klaviertastatur. Im Jahr 2018 erschien ein zweites Gerät, TouchMe, mit dem man nun auch auf Haut Musik machen konnte.
Playtronica ist sowohl eine Gemeinschaft als auch ein Startup, bestehend aus Künstlern und Ingenieuren aus verschiedenen Bereichen des Lebens, die über den ganzen Globus verteilt sind. Sie machen alles, vom Bau von musikalischen Geräten, bis zur Produktion von interaktiven Veranstaltungen und Installationen - Projekte, die Stunden oder Jahre dauern können.
Das Projekt "Playtronica" hat das Kollektiv um die ganze Welt geführt - vom Centre Pompidou in Paris bis zum Exploratorium in San Francisco. Ebenso befindet sich Playtronica in regelmäßiger Zusammenarbeit bei Engagement- und Interaktionsprojekten mit Marken wie Nike, Boeing, Mercedes Benz Google, Ikea und vielen anderen.
