The XDJ-RX3 is a 2-channel all-in-one performance DJ system and has all the flexibility and functionality of its predecessor, plus a host of new features taken directly from the club-standard CDJ-3000 multi-player and DJM-900NXS2 mixer, as well as a brand new 10.1-inch touchscreen.
If you're looking for an easy-to-transport setup for use at parties, events or even a bar, the XDJ-RX3 has everything you could wish for. It's also ideal for practising at home and anyone using a CDJ+DJM setup in a club will feel right at home with the XDJ-RX3. The all-in-one system plays tracks analysed with rekordbox from USB drives and can also be connected to a laptop to use the rekordbox Performance mode. Support for Serato DJ Pro will follow from the beginning of 2022.
The XDJ-RX3's 10.1-inch touchscreen boasts a higher resolution and frame rate than its predecessor. The brand-new interface makes it much quicker and easier to browse your music library and effects control also benefits greatly. The browse section originates from the CDJ-3000 and enables intuitive navigation through playlists. With the new Playlist Bank function, you can quickly access four favourite playlists with a single touch, while Touch Preview allows you to preview any part of a track without even loading it onto the deck. A tap on the screen is all it takes to switch between the pad status or beat FX display and the X-Pad. The 3-band waveform display - also from the CDJ-3000 - ensures that you can see the levels of different frequency ranges in rekordbox-analysed tracks at a glance and get a clear visual representation of the sound.
It's easy to keep track of what's loaded on the XDJ-RX3's decks thanks to the Colour On Jog display, which shows important track information or cover art on the LCD display at the centre of each jog wheel. With the Feeling Adjust knob, the resistance of each jog wheel can be adjusted individually.
With the 14 beat FX and six sound colour FX from the DJM-900NXS2, there is plenty of scope for creativity on board. Ideal for making every mix sound unique. The Performance Pads and the newly added Release FX of the XDJ-RX3 offer new possibilities for dynamic music editing.
The new audio design not only eliminates unwanted background noise. The XDJ-RX3 also offers a fine tuning that ensures a clear, natural sound that guarantees fatigue-free enjoyment even after a long time.
The design of the XDJ-RX3 comes from Pioneer DJ club standard equipment, with the lighting around the play/cue buttons and the colour on-jog display standing out once again.
