The Palmer PEABO is a balanced switch with one input and two outputs. This makes it the perfect choice for routing a signal to either of two different inputs.
If you switch your vocal microphone between the FOH and monitor mixing desks whilst on stage, you can communicate with the monitor engineer or even the band.
Two different sound settings: You may sometimes want a different effect or sound on your microphone, for example a ‘telephone effect’ or more reverb. Route both outputs of the PEABO to two channels on the mixing desk, which you can set up differently. You can now switch back and forth between the two channels on stage as you wish.
You can use the PEABO to address either two different rooms or zones.
Switching is carried out via a sturdy footswitch; a red LED indicates which output is selected. For output A, 15 dB attenuation can be engaged via a slide switch; for output B, 6, 15 or 21 dB attenuation is available. A ground lift switch helps to prevent ground loops. The PEABO is housed in a robust all-metal casing with flanged sides for optimum protection of the inputs and outputs. Pre-drilled holes allow for simple and secure mounting in a rack or on a pedalboard.
The PEABO is entirely passive in design; a 9-volt block battery is required solely to power the LED.
