The Palmer PEABO is a balanced switch with one input and two outputs. This makes it the perfect choice for routing a signal to either of two different inputs.
If you switch your vocal microphone between the FOH and monitor mixers on stage, you can communicate something to the monitor engineer or the band.
Two different sound settings: You may want to use a different effect or sound on your microphone at times, for example a ‘telephone effect’ or more reverb. Route both outputs of the PEABO to two channels on the mixing desk, which you can set up differently. You can now switch back and forth between the two channels on stage as you wish.
With the PEABO, you can choose to address two different rooms or zones.
Switching is controlled via a sturdy footswitch; a red LED indicates which output is selected. For output A, 15 dB attenuation is available; for output B, 6, 15 or 21 dB attenuation can be selected via slide switches. A ground lift switch helps to prevent ground loops. The PEABO is housed in a sturdy all-metal casing with flared sides for optimum protection of the inputs and outputs. Pre-drilled holes allow for easy and secure mounting in a rack or on a pedalboard.
The PEABO is a fully passive design; a 9-volt block battery is required solely to power the LED.
