The NUVO jSax 2.0 offers children the chance to play a ‘saxophone’ from a very young age. The jSax 2.0 is designed to mimic the fingering of a traditional saxophone. This allows children to explore how to produce sound and the tonal characteristics of a ‘full-size saxophone’. The jSax has a surprisingly mellow sound and is great fun, not just for young beginners. Like all NUVO instruments, the jSax 2.0 is tuned to C, meaning all Windstars playalongs can be played on it. The NUVO jSax 2.0 has a range of over one and a half octaves (C–G) and is chromatically tuned. Whilst the curved standard version is perfect for children, the straight version offers adults greater playing comfort. A "Straighten Your jSax Kit", available separately, allows the player to convert the jSax into a "straight" version using a straight neck and a straight-shaped bell. The jSax 2.0 comes complete with a case, fingering chart, reeds and care kit. Care kit included.
