The NUVO Clarineo is a clarinet in the key of C and is ideal for young beginners aged 4 and above. It is lighter and smaller than a B♭ clarinet. This has the advantage of requiring a smaller finger span. The tone holes are also smaller. Once the child has mastered the instrument, a seamless transition to the B♭ clarinet is possible. The Clarineo has a full, mellow tone. Without transposing, you can play all the notes of a C-tune: recorder, piano, flute or vocal parts. This makes it particularly suitable for basic, general music lessons.
