The MR-PRO is an extremely powerful signal generator that offers professional users all common audio test signals in the highest quality. Customised waveforms can be loaded into the internal flash memory via USB.


The continuous display of output impedance, load symmetry, phantom voltage and the integrated cable test help with the verification of installations and quick troubleshooting. The MR-PRO includes all the features of the Minirator MR2.


These new measurement functions provide detailed information about the characteristics of the load and help to localise faults quickly.


Cable test:

The integrated cable test checks the correct 1:1 connection between the XLR output and the built-in XLR input. Alternatively, an external cable test plug (accessory) can be used at the end of the cable.


Saving configurations:

Up to 10 device configurations can be stored on the internal flash memory and retrieved for recurring tasks or transferred to other devices.


True level output:

The MR-PRO's low-impedance, regulated output stage guarantees an exact terminal voltage over a wide load range. Deviations with low-impedance loads are clearly displayed.


Sine wave signal:

The MR-PRO generates high-purity sine wave signals with

freely selectable frequency from 10 Hz to 20 kHz

Level range from -80 to +18 dBu


Sweep:

Sweep signals can be generated in a freely selectable frequency range with a resolution of up to 1/12 octave. Audio measuring devices such as the Minilyzer trigger on this signal and automatically record the frequency response of a test object.


Chirp:

The chirp signal is a sinusoidal signal with a defined start and stop frequency and continuously increasing frequency over time. The chirp signal can be used, for example, to measure a frequency response, the impulse response and acoustic recording of a room.


Runtime test signal:

This is a designated reference signal for measuring the acoustic propagation time from loudspeaker to loudspeaker, e.g. in churches or large seminar rooms. The measurement is carried out in combination with the Acoustilyzer AL1.


Pink and white noise:

Pink and white noise has a high spectral density, Gaussian amplitude distribution and an infinite period. Automatic cyclic muting simplifies reverberation time measurements with AL1


Polarity:

The sawtooth is an ideal test signal for testing the polarity of loudspeakers. The Minilyzer ML1 and Acoustilyzer AL1 recognise this signal and use it to determine the polarity of connected systems.


Customised waveforms (*.wav):

Customised test signals can be saved and played back as uncompressed WAV files on the MR-PRO via USB. The signals are automatically repeated without gaps.
