With the SL-1200MK7, Technics is now expanding its successful range of DJ turntables with a silver model. The new SL-1200MK7 has the same technical features and ease of use as the SL-1210MK7, which has become the favourite of the vinyl DJ community worldwide since its launch in January 2019.Adjustability of starting and braking torqueThe SL-1210MK7 impresses with innovative motor control technologies. These have been used and perfected in the latest generation of Blu-ray players in particular. Thanks to a microcomputer, the controller can easily withstand both normal playback and more demanding DJ applications such as scratching. In addition, the starting torque and deceleration speed can be customised to suit individual preferences.Pitch function for fine adjustment of the speedThe rotation speed of the SL-1210MK7 can be set to 33-1/3, 45 or 78 rpm.* The pitch adjustment range is ±8%/±16%. This enables highly precise and stable fine adjustment of the speed as well as perfect matching of e.g. two SL-1210MK7 units in DJ mode. *The use of 78 rpm is activated via the main on/off switch.Reverse play functionIf the speed button and the start/stop button are pressed simultaneously, the turntable rotates in the opposite direction*.
