Based on its revolutionary new wavetable synthesiser engine, Argon8 derives much of its heritage and DNA from the highly acclaimed Modal 002. Eight voices of true polyphony in a professional package with unprecedented features.
Modal Argon8 offers a Class Compliant USB-MIDI connection that allows Argon8 to play in any setup. The free ModalApp software editor is available for MacOSX, Windows, iOS and Android tablets and phones, and as a VST3 and AU plugin. The Argon8's new sound engine enables extremely complex synthesis that was previously unheard of in this price range (and above). The development of Argon8 is a testament to the dedication and culmination of almost six years of hard work by the young development team from Bristol, England.
