The magic of bursts:
The year 1958 represents a milestone in the colouring of LP-style electric guitars, as the model range, which had previously been painted exclusively in gold, black or, in the case of the Junior, TV Yellow, was expanded in terms of colour. This year saw the first LP Style electric guitars with a finish in gradually mixed colours, which presented the middle of the guitar top in bright colours. These sunburst electric guitars are the holy grail of the LP style among guitar aficionados and are affectionately known as bursts. They can be found in many of the classic Maybach Lester model variants.
