All pedals come with a sturdy base plate which, thanks to large ribbed rubber surfaces, provides excellent grip on both carpet and smooth floors. Thanks to professional ball bearings with extremely low play, these pedals run very smoothly. All pedals are available with either a slow or fast (eccentric) cam.
What makes the Lotus Convertible special, however, is not that it runs absolutely smoothly, but that it can be converted from a standard pedal to a longboard in a single movement! Nine patents have been filed for this unique foot machine, and the double pedal is unlikely to find a worthy rival.
In the cardan shaft alone, there are 8 high-tech ball bearings – four in each cube – which prevent the shaft from developing play or experiencing unnecessary friction. Another special feature: an additional ball bearing in the spring suspension prevents the spring from creaking, as is often the case with prolonged use.
