Listen, Read & Play is a personalised wind instrument method for 15 different instruments, suitable for use in individual or group lessons. This tried-and-tested method has been compiled in accordance with current standards and requirements for music education. It includes numerous games, puzzles, listening exercises, songs and original compositions. With the accompanying recordings, practising is naturally twice as much fun! These are available in MP3 format for download or streaming; access to the MP3 tracks (access code in the book) is included in the purchase price.
In the first volume, note values up to eighth notes are introduced within a moderate range. These are accompanied by a few accidentals and key signatures, as well as essential fingering techniques. Of particular interest to young players is an extra page featuring an illustrated history of their own instrument.
