Your Sound - Centre Stage

The amplifiers and effects processors of the Helix® Stadium family set new standards - just like the original Helix processor. Thanks to powerful DSP technology and the all-new Agoura™ modelling method, they offer exceptional sound and playing response, a sophisticated yet intuitive user interface and unprecedented control.

The flagship Helix Stadium XL Floor amplifier and effects processor can be considered a performance workstation due to its high-resolution 8-inch touchscreen, 12 high-contrast OLED scribble strips, the ability to switch between ultra-authentic and idealised amp sounds with a single knob, an 8-channel audio interface, a versatile matrix cue mixer, proxy amp, cabinet and effects clones, and the Showcase™ automation and playback engine. Showcase allows it to be used as the centrepiece of an entire stage setup - including automatically recalling presets and snapshots, controlling loopers and software, and using MIDI to control pedals, keyboards and synthesizers, videos and even lighting. Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi control are also supported.

Helix Stadium XL Floor offers extensive connectivity options, including various analogue and digital audio inputs and outputs, MIDI (DIN and USB), multi-purpose control jacks and a proprietary Nexus™ connector for use with the optional Expand D10 unit and future peripherals. The Expand D10 offers Variax®, L6 LINK™, 8-channel optics and other connections. Multiple external footswitches and expression pedals, such as the optional EX2™, are also supported.

NEW SOUNDS

Agoura modelling sets new standards for authentic sound when modelling physical amplifiers - from the behaviour of tubes and transformers to the dynamic interaction with speakers and cabinets. At the same time, the accuracy with which amplifiers respond to your playing style is greatly improved, making them feel as authentic as they sound. And if you prefer your amp sounds a little more polished, the new Hype function lets you switch between ultra-authentic and idealised sounds with a single control. Plus, cloud-based proxy processing lets you capture the sound of your own amps, cabinets and effects.

INTERACTIVE USER INTERFACE

At the heart of the sophisticated yet intuitive user interface is a high-resolution 8-inch touchscreen and 12 high-contrast 1.7-inch OLED scribble strips. These work together with the 11 knobs, 13 buttons and 12 footswitches to create the most ergonomic, intuitive and inspiring user interface available. The many features include Focus View with contextual parameter control, Preset Audition audio clips and explanatory information texts for most parameters. There is also a fully integrated and assignable expression pedal with toe switch, allowing high-precision control of almost all parameters.

SHOWCASE

Showcase is a live automation engine that allows Helix Stadium XL Floor to control a wide range of parameters and functions, whether you're jamming in your basement or automating every aspect of a demanding stage setup - from recalling presets and snapshots to remote MIDI control of external devices, playback of up to eight internal stereo audio tracks and automation of lighting and video devices - all with synchronised tempo adjustment. It's like having a team of technicians at your feet to help you turn small gigs and live streams into high-profile events.

EXTENSIVE CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS

Helix Stadium XL Floor offers a comprehensive selection of analogue and digital inputs and outputs, including two instrument inputs and a microphone input, XLR and 6.3 mm analogue outputs, a headphone output, four send/return sockets, two multifunctional dual control sockets and S/PDIF digital I/O. There are also DIN and USB MIDI connectors, a USB-A connector and a proprietary Nexus connector for use with the optional Expand D10 and future peripherals. Multiple external footswitches and expression pedals, such as the optional EX2, are supported.

OPTIONAL EXPANSION

The optional Expand D10 significantly increases the flexibility of the Helix Stadium XL Floor. Connect Variax modelling guitars via VDI and active Powercab® 112+/212+ guitar speaker systems via L6 LINK. It also expands the capabilities of the Helix Stadium XL Floor with audio interfaces, digital mixing consoles, multi-connector breakout boxes and other devices via the 8-channel optical output. The optional EX2 expression pedal/foot switch perfectly complements the Helix Stadium XL Floor both functionally and aesthetically.

FUTUREPROOF

Although the Helix family of products has been continuously expanded, updated and improved since its introduction, Helix was not originally designed for this purpose. However, the architecture of the Helix Stadium family of products was designed from the outset to provide a foundation for the development of exciting new tools that allow members of the Line 6 community to realise their musical visions.
