This mallet is adjustable in length!
Its balance point can therefore be individually adjusted to body height, hand size and arm length. The adjustment range is 10 cm.
The SHORT mallet is ideal for small drum diameters or young drummers.
However, the short lever also provides excellent control in general, allowing you to play very quickly and with accentuation.
For larger drum diameters, it is advisable to make the mallet slightly longer in order to hit the head's striking point optimally. Increasing the length also increases the impact weight. The strokes become more powerful and the drum's sound volume and assertiveness increase. The LONG beater setting means fatigue-free playing with little effort.
Properties/use
This mallet has an extremely hard-wearing hard felt head with a long service life. It is well balanced and sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the rubber grip. It produces a loud, assertive, dry and concise sound, but is also excellent for rhythmic playing; accentuated strong attack
The excellent weight balance of the mallet ensures optimum power transmission to the head, which is easy on the joints and avoids incorrect forces. For the player, this means a lot of sound, pressure and volume with little effort.
