For more than 40 years, the world’s best metal shredders and hard rockers have sworn by Jackson guitars. With the Pro Origin 1985 series, we’re returning to our roots; it’s a tribute to our history and the music.
Here in Ensenada, where it all began, we build the guitars of the Jackson Pro Origin series. It brings back the San Dimas style that inspired a whole generation of guitar heroes to break stylistic boundaries. A Seymour Duncan®JB (bridge) and a Hotrails™ (neck) pickup produce the legendary sound that made Jackson a driving force in the metal scene. The highly resonant alder body delivers a balanced, crisp tone with plenty of warmth, long sustain and clarity that cuts through the mix cleanly. Each maple neck is carefully stained to achieve the beautiful amber colour of aged wood. The playability is outstanding – fast, smooth and precise. Your fingers will literally fly across the frets! The 12"–16" compound radius fingerboards are made of ebony and feature large dot inlays, whilst the Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double Locking Tremolo is top-mounted. With their specifications, these new ‘old’ classics are exactly what metalheads and virtuosos are looking for. Can you feel the creative energy from back when Jackson took the Los Angeles scene by storm?
The Pro Origin 1985 series combines a nostalgic feel with modern playability and, with its Jackson pickups crafted to historical specifications, exudes an extraordinary retro-future vibe. These shred machines connect you to the pioneering spirit of an industry legend.
Play loud, be proud of your music and rock your way back to the future – the Pro Origin 1985 series embodies the untamed Jackson spirit.
