Add an additional 13" Dry Dark Crash resting in the lower cymbal for an even stronger attack, a more prominent chick sound and a quicker decay, or use it as an alternative lower cymbal for a quiet, soft hi-hat pairing with balanced sticking and a relatively low pitch.
When not used as a hi-hat pair, the upper cymbal provides a fast and trashy crash and the lower can be used as an accent bell.
