General Description of the Service
Our online shop offers musical instruments and event technology for purchase. In addition, customers can rent speakers, PA systems, and other equipment for events through our party rental service. All offers and services are available online through our shop https://www.rockshop.de/.
Explanation of Service Delivery
Through our online shop, we offer musical instruments and event technology for purchase. You can select products, add them to the shopping cart, and complete the purchase via the shop. Delivery is made to the address you provide.
For our party rental service, you can request speakers, PA systems, and other equipment for rent using a request form on our website. After submitting the form, we will contact you directly to coordinate further details.
Status of Compliance with the Requirements
The above-mentioned service is partially compliant with the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG).
The following parts/contents/functions of the service are not accessible:
For product search, we use a third-party product called “Doofinder”, which currently does not meet the accessibility requirements within the meaning of the BFSG.
The same applies to the image sliders in the shop, which use the plugins “Elysium-Slider” and “Foundation”. Currently, it is not possible to manage alternative texts for these.
We are in contact with the plugin developers, who are already working on accessible versions. As soon as they are available, we will update the plugins accordingly.
- Individual control elements (e.g. sliders) are not fully operable via keyboard.
- The visible focus (keyboard marker) is not clearly recognizable in some areas.
- Forms do not always provide error messages in an accessible manner (e.g. for screen readers).
- Dynamically loaded content such as search suggestions or product lists are not sufficiently announced.
- Some graphical elements and icons lack alternative texts or have insufficient ones.
- Embedded content from third parties (e.g. videos, maps) is not always integrated accessibly.
- The structure of HTML elements is partly non-semantic and hinders use with assistive technologies.
- Text and control element contrasts do not always meet readability requirements.
- Certain functions in third-party plugins do not yet meet common accessibility standards.
- Alternative texts for images are only partially available.
- Missing or incorrect ARIA attributes.
Non-accessible Parts of the Service – Implementation Deadlines
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide an exact date for when the plugins will be accessible, as implementation depends on the plugin developers. As soon as accessible updates are provided, we will apply them immediately. A Shopware system update is planned for July 2025 and is expected to resolve several of the known accessibility issues.
