The wide cutaways also allow unimpeded access to the high positions of the bolt-on maple neck, which has an extremely fast "Wizard III" profile and thus provides the ideal basis for complex riffs and virtuoso solos.
Ibanez Quantum humbucker for differentiated sounds
The Ibanez Standard RGA42FML-BLF Blue Lagoon Burst Flat features two Ibanez Quantum humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Equipped with powerful ceramic magnets, these pickups deliver differentiated sounds for modern rock and metal that don't lose their contour even with drop tunings. The bridge humbucker impresses with its aggressive sound, which asserts itself in the band sound with a laser-sharp focussed mid-range spectrum, while the neck pickup makes every note sing with smooth sustain. The pickups are managed via a 3-way blade switch as well as master volume and master tone controls.
