The new POLAR 12 column system combines outstanding sound characteristics with uncomplicated handling, opening up the easiest way for musicians, DJs and entertainers to achieve the best sound. With its 24-bit DSP and high-quality speaker components, it delivers a particularly clear and natural sound image from 38 Hz to 20 kHz. The uncompromising subwoofer design and 2,000 watts of power amplifier output ensure a consistently powerful XXL sound experience at any volume.
With its wide dispersion of 120° and low susceptibility to feedback, POLAR 12 can be easily positioned in any room. It can even be placed directly behind the user, often making additional stage monitors superfluous. By omitting the spacer, POLAR 12 can be used even more flexibly, e.g. on high stages.
While POLAR 10 already covers all typical applications for column systems with ease, POLAR 12 ensures an even more impressive performance, especially in situations where high-performance bass is required in continuous operation.
Especially for DJ applications, POLAR 12, with its larger cabinet volume compared to POLAR 10 and the 12-woofer, delivers the extra portion of bass that bass enthusiasts love so much. In contrast to the usual bass boost provided by electronic filters, the low bass in POLAR 12 is physically generated by the long-throw woofer in an acoustically optimised enclosure. As a result, the bass reproduction of the POLAR 12 does not reach its limits at partial load, but remains in perfect balance with the mids and highs even at high volumes.
The built-in 4-channel mixer offers two channels for microphone and line signals, an instrument channel (e.g. for acoustic guitar) and an AUX channel, e.g. for DJ equipment or MP3 players, which also controls Bluetooth audio.
Three different sound modes (Music, Speech, DJ) and the flexible Master EQ can be saved in 5 user presets and guarantee fast results in different application situations.
The practical E.A.S. connection system makes speaker cables superfluous, ensures a solid stand and makes assembly and disassembly child's play.
