Göldo "Butterfly" String-Tree piece
Classic string tree in the "butterfly" version.
These string trees were used on F-Type instruments from the late 1950s onwards and are primarily used to increase the string pressure on the nut.
Usually, either one string tree for the E and B strings or two string trees for the additional D and G strings are used on F-type headstocks.
