Tom DeLonge is a songwriter, singer, guitarist and co-founder of Blink-182. Fender® has once again teamed up with the creative punk musician to realise a shared vision - the Tom DeLonge Starcaster®.
This guitar is unusual in every respect. The semi-hollow Tom DeLonge Starcaster offset body is fitted with a Seymour Duncan® SH-5 Duncan Custom humbucker, which produces the right sound for powerful chords and heavy riffs. But the Tom DeLonge Starcaster® is not only loud and powerful, it also has a sophisticated inner workings. Instead of an opulent collection of knobs, there is just a single volume control with an integrated treble bleed circuit. This means that your sound retains the full treble spectrum at any volume with bell-like, bitingly throaty short-before-breakup sound colours. The C-profile neck has a 12" rosewood fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and provides a modern, comfortable playing feel. Further highlights: Fender locking tuners with maximum tuning stability, freely adjustable bridge with stop tailpiece for customised setup and additional tuning stability. The neck plate and the back of the headstock each feature artwork personally designed by DeLonge.
