The Classic Vibe™ Active '70s Jazz Bass® takes inspiration from the famous basses that defined the funky sounds of the 1970s and adds an onboard preamp for the ultimate combination of vintage looks and modern performance. This Squier® groove machine is powered by a pair of Fender Designed™ Alnico Noiseless™ J Bass® pickups for a punchy, hum-free signal. The 9-volt preamp features controls for volume, pickup mix, treble and bass gain, as well as a toggle switch to toggle between active and passive for complete control over the tone.other details include a HiMass™ bridge for optimal resonance, a distinctive bound fretboard with block inlays, rich nickel-plated hardware and a smooth, glossy vintage-style neck finish for an old-school vibe.
