The Player II Modified Active Precision Bass® is a contemporary version of our traditional woofer. The slim neck in a modern C-profile plays nice and fast, while the silk-matt urethane finish on the back gives it a pleasantly smooth feel. It is available either as a one-piece maple neck or with a rosewood slab fingerboard, both with a 9.5" fingerboard radius and 20 medium jumbo frets. The resonant alder body is available in many new finishes. The sound is provided by a Player II Modified Precision Bass® neck pickup and a Noiseless™ Jazz Bass® bridge pickup, which produce a rich, full Fender bass tone without annoying background noise. The new active preamp with EQ enables active/passive tone control. The strings run over a HiMass™ bridge with four string saddles, tapered tuners and a TUSQ® nut. This combination creates a solid string action and the bass remains in tune even during long sessions.
With the Player II Modified Active Precision Bass® you can bring the classic Fender bass tone to your music.
