The neck, featuring a modern C-profile with a silky urethane finish on the back, is fitted with a maple or slab rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5 radius, gently rounded edges and 20 medium jumbo frets. The classic alder body is available in a choice of popular, timeless Fender finishes – or in brand-new historical vintage colours that we’ve freshly unearthed from the archives. Player Series Alnico V single-coil J Bass ® pickups produce sweet, clear highs, rumbling mids and punchy bass. An adjustable bridge with four individual notched steel saddles and open-back tuners keep the strings exactly where they belong.
