"With the S-1 Switch from Fender® you can spice up and modify your favourite guitar or bass.
Originally introduced in 2003 as an upgrade for American and American Deluxe Series guitars and basses, the S-1 switch allows for a variety of tonal options for your instrument.
The S-1 switch has four "stages" and can be wired in a variety of configurations (SPST, DPDT for a coil pickup or 4PDT for a dual humbucking coil pickup).
Works well in conjunction with a Stratocaster® 5-position "Super" switch (Fender p/n 0992251000).
