Fender is recognised as one of the greatest manufacturers and pioneers of solid body guitars. As the creator of the Telecaster and Stratocaster, founder Leo Fender created milestones in the history of electric guitars and thus a cult following. There is also a long history behind the famous Fender amps. Leo Fender started building guitar amps even before he built his first guitars. These were of course built using tube technology, Fender only started with solidstate models in the late 60s...
