Stunning, player-friendly, sophisticated. The Fender ® American Ultra II Telecaster ® is a milestone in the Telecaster’s evolution. It embodies innovation, expertise and a relentless pursuit of perfection. Its body, crafted from selected alder, is finished with our Liquid Gold premium finish – a combination of warm gold tones and a cool metallic effect. The finish shimmers almost hypnotically, reflecting the light and showing off the shape to its best advantage. The quartersawn maple neck with a ‘Modern D’ profile plays smoothly; it is finished in a smooth Ultra Satin finish and features an ebony fingerboard with a 10"–14" compound radius, ultra-smoothly rounded edges, medium jumbo frets, Custom Lap Steel inlays, Luminlay ® side dots and a Graph Tech ® TUSQ ® nut. We have flattened the neck heel to match the contoured body shape, allowing your fretting hand to glide effortlessly right up to the highest registers.

The Fender ® American Ultra II Telecaster ® sounds just as impressive as it looks: a 75th Anniversary Noiseless single-coil on the neck and a 75th Anniversary Fastlane™ bridge humbucker produce sweet, crystal-clear cleans, snappy Tele ® twang and a rich, punchy growl – without any annoying hum! The two patented S-1™ switches unlock additional tonal possibilities. The first switch puts the pickups in series, whilst the second acts as a series/parallel selector for the humbucker. Further tour-ready details: string-through-body bridge with six brass saddles, deluxe locking tuners, knurled aluminium control knobs, single-ply aluminium pickguard.
