Elektron's Syntakt is a 12-track drum machine and synthesiser - a sound metropolis that fuses analogue and digital synthesis into one instrument with outrageous possibilities. All your sound processing, sequencing and performance needs are met in a versatile music mega-box that fits in your hatch.
Syntakt is a percussion specialist with a wealth of percussive possibilities, but its 12 tracks can also be used for melody, harmony and bass sounds. Experience sounds from the past and resurrect others from the future with over 35 analogue and digital machines. For the uninitiated: The machines in the Elektron universe are special sound generators that are synthesised inside your synthesiser.
Influence the sound of each machine with the intuitive and playful graphics. Select and route your tracks and external inputs via the FX track. You have delay, reverb, analogue distortion and filters as well as some LFOs to play around with. With the four expressive modifiers, you can unleash your sounds with different speeds, retrigs and different settings of other parameters and access a variety of different scales via the keyboard mode - some familiar, some less so - helping you discover new places and take things to another level. Last but not least, you can bring dynamic soundscapes to life with the world-class 64-step electronic sequencer.
