Without the boost activated, the BL 800 is an exact sound copy of the JCM 800 with a little more gain; with the boost activated, there is a decent extra boost of gain.Controls:Gain, bass, middle, treble, volume, plus a gain boost. Five controls are enough to adapt the BL800 perfectly to an amplifier. This is achieved by an active 3-band tone control that covers all sound nuances.
