Description:
An unadulterated reproduction of the recorded material is absolutely essential for sound engineers. This is exactly why Drawmer developed the MC2.1 monitor controller. The Drawmer MC2.1 Monitor Controller combines the clarity, quality and transparency of an extremely high-quality monitoring circuit with a multitude of practical monitoring functions. In addition to its versatility and intuitive operation, the Drawmer MC2.1 is characterised above all by its absolutely precise and unadulterated reproduction of the recorded material.
The MC2.1 has four inputs, three balanced stereo speaker outputs and an additional mono output for an additional speaker/subwoofer. The left-right balance can be precisely adjusted for each output channel using a separate trim control on the underside. The active circuit design ensures faithful signal reproduction and avoids many of the familiar problems of passive circuit concepts. The MC2.1 is the perfect tool for every sound engineer thanks to a variety of rarely encountered monitoring functions such as a separate level reduction for the left/right channel, two separate headphone amplifiers or the integrated talkback microphone
Whether you are mastering CDs/DVDs, recording in the studio, levelling and equalising mixes, making A/B comparisons and much more... You've probably spent weeks planning the perfect working environment and invested a fortune in active monitors, dynamic processors, various microphone/preamp combinations and other equipment. A monitor controller is a central component of every studio and probably the most important link in the signal chain. This is because this is where the monitoring signal is received, which serves as a reference for optimum microphone positioning, mix control and EQ settings. This makes it all the more important to be able to rely on the signal fidelity of your monitor controller at all times.
