This microphone offers excellent off-axis rejection at high SPL. It effectively suppresses distant sound sources, making it perfect for demanding live performances with potentially problematic background noise and feedback. At high SPL or feedback, this microphone handles such challenges with ease. The bass response has been designed for optimum linearity 2-3 cm away from the sound source. This means that the bass roll-off will be relatively clear at a greater distance - a very important factor when attenuating background noise and combating feedback.
