The Ethercon QUAD DMX-AES/EBU adapter utilises one pair of wires of a common 4-pair CAT cable and thus enables the cost-efficient transport of four parallel DMX or AES/EBU signals.
It is fitted with black female NEUTRIK® XLR metal connectors in 3-pin design. The individual cables are TIA 568 A colour-coded and terminate after a 70 cm split in a special metal cable socket with strain relief and kink protection based on the well-known NEUTRIK® NE8FF.
We recommend network cables with at least one overall shield for the long distances in between. Distances of up to 150 metres are possible when using the high-quality CORDIAL CCAT 7A LONG RUN with a wire gauge of AWG 23.
