The material made from untreated natural cowhide adapts to the individual person after just a few hours. The belt is very soft and supple right from the start.
The inner padding prevents strain and pressure on the cervical vertebrae. This ensures better blood circulation right up to the brain region. The adjustment knob is made of brass and treated with a protective coating. It can be easily adjusted when the strap is loose, but as soon as the instrument hangs tightly down the body, it remains securely in position.
Only the best hides are selected after careful inspection. The pad is made of natural cowhide. The upper side is black and somewhat thicker. The inside has a very fine tanning that is pleasant to the touch. The leather is slightly thinner and allows the rubber padding material hidden inside to function optimally.
We recommend the following sizes:
Alto saxophone: S (small), for a normal neck, M (medium), for a muscular neck
Tenor saxophone: M (medium), for normal necks, L (large), for muscular necks
Straight soprano: M (medium)
In special cases: e.g. bass clarinet: XL (extra large), or curved soprano: S (small)
