Aquadrum Air Pro11 Handpan

The Aquadrum Pro11 is a melodic percussion instrument created from a symbiosis of the classic slit drum and steel pan instruments.

The metal body of the Aquadrum with a total of eleven tunable reeds offers countless melody options for the player, the very warm and soft sound is an enrichment for every percussion setup. But even without any additional accompaniment, the Aquadrum is capable of captivating listeners. The Aquadrum produces very harmonious, fluid sounds that can be adapted to any scale thanks to the award-winning tuning system. The long sustain literally blurs the notes together, unleashing a spherical variety of sounds.

Computer-controlled precision for a clear sound The body of the Aquadrum is made of steel and is pressed into shape and hardened using a special process. The reeds are cut using a computer-controlled 5-axis laser, which guarantees high precision and therefore a clear sound. The tuning magnets are assembled by hand, while a stainless steel coating creates a pleasant playing feel and extends the life of the Aquadrum enormously. All eleven reeds of the Aquadrum can be tuned by simply moving the small tuning magnet on the underside of the reeds. The channels on the reeds of the Aquadrum provide stress-free access to the magnet so that the instrument can be tuned precisely from the playing side with the help of a small pin.
