The T7V is a near-field studio monitor designed as a vertically oriented 2-way system.
The T7V features a 7-inch woofer capable of reproducing bass down to 39 Hz, whilst the diaphragm of the U-ART tweeter delivers an uncoloured and extended high-frequency response up to 25 kHz. The U-ART tweeter is fitted with a precision waveguide that offers the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High-Frequency Propagation Waveguide (HPS) used in the S-series studio monitors. The waveguide’s extremely even reproduction of high frequencies ensures an incredibly wide sweet spot, sparing you the need to remain in a fixed position whilst working.
The T7V’s metal rear panel houses the bass reflex port as well as numerous controls and analogue connections. The U-ART tweeter is powered by a 20 W amplifier, whilst a 50 W amplifier drives the woofer. This powerhouse in a slim enclosure delivers an impressive maximum sound pressure level of 110 dB SPL per pair.
Thanks to its wide frequency response, wide dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot and small footprint, the T7V is ideally suited for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcasting – an attractive option for the limited budgets that many facilities have to work with.
The ADAM Sub8 subwoofer is the perfect complement to the T7V, expanding the possibilities for low-frequency monitoring.
